With over 100 dealers and exhibitors everything you need to enjoy the boat show is under one roof. This is the largest indoor boat show in the state in a single building. You don’t need to travel to outbuildings scattered across a parking lot. The 56th Annual Mid-Atlantic Sports and Boat Show is completely contained inside the new Virginia Beach Convention Center – that’s over 150,000 square feet of modern, class A exhibit space.

For years the Richmond Boat Show has been recognized as one of the best boat shows in Central Virginia. Covering nearly 160,000 square feet in seven buildings, it attracts dealers from throughout Virginia. Boats on display from 40 dealers include runabouts, saltwater fishing boats, ski boats, pontoon boats, deck boats, jet boats, PWCs, motor yachts and bass boats. Additional exhibits include boat lifts, floating docks, marine electronics, water sports and safety equipment. Experts will be on hand to give information and answer questions about marinas, financing, insurance, boat maintenance and repair and boating safety.
The Richmond Boat Show is held at the Richmond Raceway Complex. Simple to find. And with acres of free parking, this suburban facility makes coming to the Richmond Boat Show easy and fun.

Comprehensive Safe Boating Course
Starts May 6, 2008
Learn the fundamentals of safe boat handling and operation, and basic piloting in one comprehensive classroom course. As an additional feature, this newly revised course includes a digital chart training CD and instructional material on modern navigation techniques as well.
This course meets state specific and National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) requirements for certification. And completion of the course is accepted by most insurance companies.
